Hydratech has a range of products specifically designed for use in the offshore Oil & Gas sector. We have a range of hydraulic power supply units and BOP control units that are fully compliant with the European Machinery Directive. To be fully compliant these units also comply with the necessary additional directives such as “Pressure Equipment Directive”, “Electro Magnetic Directive” and should the equipment be for use in an explosive environment then the “ATEX” directive shall apply. Our use of harmonised standards and experience assures our units of safe installation, operation and maintenance as required by the directives. Where required we can apply other agency standards such as DNV, API, Lloyds and IMO should a custom design be required. Our Range Includes:
Hydraulic Power Units:
- 22kW Pneumatic / Hydraulic Units with Twin Pump and DNV Frame.
- 37kW Electro / Hydraulic Units with Single Pump and DNV Frame.
- 45kW Electro / Hydraulic Units with Single Pump and DNV Frame.
- 55kW Electro / Hydraulic Units with Single Pump and DNV Frame.
- 75kW Electro / Hydraulic Units with Single Pump and DNV Frame.
Our modular approach to unit design allows, multi pump variants of each size to increase the options. Combining and Isolating manifolds are available to allow a tailored solution to your requirements.
BOP Control Units:
- 4 Bottle - 3 Function Units with Twin Pneumatic Pumps and DNV Frame.
- 8 Bottle - 5 Function Units with Twin Pneumatic Pumps and DNV Frame.
- 16 & 20 Bottle - 6 Function Units with Twin Pneumatic Pumps & Electric Pump.
Again modular design and variable configurations allow for tailored solutions to your requirements. Additional control options such as Pneumatic Remote Control Stations and Electrical Remote Control Stations permit conformity to API 16D. Additionally, where no suitable “European” components are available for use on our units we have taken manufacturer status on imported products that we have assessed, modified (as necessary) and declared conformity / incorporation for use in the European markets. This can include conformity to the Machinery Directive and or the ATEX directive for non-electrical components.
